An example of Prague Functionalism in Slovakia, this five-storey villa on a steep slope provides an urban residence in the natural setting of its hillside garden. Two luxurious flats placed above each other have their own corner loggias; at the centre of the layout of each is a large residential hall with a glass perimeter wall. The expressive form of the house is grounded in its sensitive use of the advantages of the site and the creative treatment of the aesthetic effects of elementary rectangular shapes. In 1990 – 1992, the villa was rebuilt under the design of O. Šabík.
