Námestie Ľ. Štúra 65, Modra Juraj Chorvát 1936 |
This Functionalist three-storey structure with rounded corners stands in a traditional urban block, repeating the arrangement of the buildings on the eastern side of the square. The facade, articulated with relatively generous window openings, is composed of two layers on the main front: emerging from a background covered in small ceramic tiles is a slightly protruding stucco surface with four windows. The flat roof with glass balustrades served as a terrace. On the ground floor is a bank (now Slovenská sporiteľna), with flats in the upper storeys.
