The architect gave this otherwise fairly ordinary block house a unique character thanks to a couple of details: the upper windows are slightly smaller, an extended staircase window has originally a high dividing post at the centre. The placement of the front staircase is unusual and the main hall has an oval opening with a two-storey high gallery. All of these features were very refined and insensitive interventions down the road destroyed some of them. At the beginning of the sixties, an airline office has been set up on the ground floor and at the end of 2000 the building has been converted into a branch of the Industrial Bank (“Priemyselna banka“, E. Kupcikova, K. Gregor). Although the primary shape remained, the architecture being based on such a fine set of facets has changed its character quite a bit.
