Bohuslav Fuchs
1935

In a narrow lot facing Hviezdoslavovo námestí, the Brno architect Bohuslav Fuchs built a rental block for Mrs. Rosenthalová that consisted of two independent structures: one of seven floors facing the square and a smaller (four-storey) object facing the street. Both apartment buildings have a symmetrically arranged layout with a staircase at the axis of symmetry. Each floor contains two relatively small flats, but of a very high standard. Architecturally, one of the most interesting features is the facade of the higher block, broken up by pilings.
