This compact neo-Classical form is situated at the edge of the city centre; the four-storey building is enclosed into a U-shaped floor plan. The main entrance has a symmetrical composition, with an exterior staircase from the street and an interesting side entrance into the courtyard. The exterior is clearly articulated into a vertically-banded base, a main body, and an ending in the sharply peaked roof. Two gymnastics halls were originally located in the cellar, with a cafeteria and accommodations in the upper floors. At present, the building is a children’s art and music school.
